Lead instructor
Ryan
Multistate locations.
Ryan started as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division and later served as a sergeant in a combat engineer battalion, including two combat deployments to Afghanistan. In law enforcement he has served as a police officer, chief of police, and deputy sheriff, and he has trained officers at multiple agencies.
He has been a law enforcement firearms instructor since 2017, from basic weapons handling through advanced work, for current and retired officers. The classes cover safe and effective use of firearms for personal defense, and home protection from a law enforcement point of view.
Ready American started from a 2018 idea: one-on-one and small-group training in firearms safety, use, and ways to detect, deter, and defend against crime. The preference is to travel to the student when a safe range is available, instead of making everyone come to one town.
